Attorney Heather L. Turner brings experience, passion, and a community focus to her work at the Law Office of Heather L. Turner, LLC. Heather founded her firm to serve the needs of families looking for peace of mind with estate planning. Through her work as a lawyer and former teacher, Heather brings a knowledgeable and gentle approach to the often-overwhelming process of estate planning.
The estate-planning process can be daunting, but having a will is essential, no matter how large or small the estate will be upon one’s passing. Heather will work with you to understand your concerns, educate you on complicated legal jargon, and ensure that your needs and desires are met. Heather’s approach will give you confidence throughout the estate-planning process, no matter if it is the first consultation or the final step in estate administration.
Prior to founding her own law firm, Heather worked as a litigation attorney for both plaintiffs and defense law firms, contributing to 150-200 working client cases each month. She received her law degree from Widener University School of Law and also earned a master’s in education from Drexel University. Heather has a deep knowledge of estate planning, administration, and probate and has worked alongside a seasoned and well-respected estates attorney for several years. Heather is licensed to practice law in Pennsylvania and handle cases in Montgomery, Delaware, Chester, and Philadelphia counties.
In addition, Heather’s endeavors in the community contribute to her legal work. She provides estate-planning services to PALM Senior Center in Ardmore, Pennsylvania, and New Horizons Senior Center in Narberth, Pennsylvania, and shares her knowledge when speaking to local parenting groups. As a mother of two, Heather is active in her sons’ school, serving as school treasurer, parent volunteer, and inter-school counsel chairperson. She is also active in the Jewish community, volunteering at Main Line Reform Temple’s Hebrew School and Sisterhood.
As the owner of her own law firm, Heather belongs to the Narberth Business Association, the Main Line New Comers Club, and the Bizzy Mamas and Femfessionals networking groups. Heather also volunteers and supports various charities, including Laurel House, Fox Chase Cancer Center, SPCA, American Diabetes Association, Home of the Sparrow, Cradles to Crayons, and A Better Chance in Lower Merion House.
Heather lives in Penn Valley, Pennsylvania, with her husband, sons, and beloved dog. She enjoys reading, exercising, spending time with her family, racing dragon boats along Philadelphia’s Schuylkill River, and traveling.
